Ceres de Haut Bages Liberal Description
This organic red wine is made at Chateau Haut-Bages Libéral, a Grand Cru classified in 1855 in Pauillac. Made of 100% Merlot grapes from the famous appellation Haut Medoc.This wine comes from a plot of land that is farmed using agroecology and agroforestry methods. The label of the Ceres vintage was designed by the artist François Houtin. It represents the vine in its natural state.
Taster's Notes: This Merlot wine is fruity, with floral notes, a fresh structure and good acidity. Ceres comes from the name of the Greek goddess of agriculture and fertility. We recommend pairing it with red meats, duck and steak.
