A rich and impressive Grenache Syrah blend from Borsao's high altitude, low-yielding vineyards, produced in collaboration with renowned Syrah expert Chris Ringland. The oak is really well done here, generous in style but balanced with plentiful fruit, offering complexity. The tannins are also classy, ripe in style, but providing a framework for the substantial fruit concentration.

Dark violet-red in the glass, this wine has lively aromas of cherry, rose petal and fennel seed. A beautiful floral note permeates the palate alongside flavors of blackberry preserves, blueberry, milk chocolate and clove that are wrapped in a layer of velvety tannins.

The dark roasted spices and hints of cocoa powder are nicely woven to the deep aromas of dark cherries and dried plums. It is juicy and pretty sleek on a medium-bodied palate with creamy but present tannins and a long, bright finish.”
