Chateau Tessendey - Fronsac Rouge 2016
Chateau Tessendey Description
85% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc
James Suckling: 91 Points
The plum and hazelnut aromas are very pretty with hints of dried flowers. Medium-bodied, tight and focused with firm and chewy tannins that show intensity and muscle. Needs two or three years to soften. Try in 2021.

This deep purple-hued effort offers up a very classic, pure, precise, medium-bodied style as well as plenty of darker fruits, subtle oak, and hints of graphite. It has present tannins, terrific balance, and shines for its purity. Although its offers plenty of pleasure today, give bottles 2 or 3 years and it should keep for a decade.
