Olivier Leflaive Description
As the name implies, the 1er Cru Clos de Angles is situated in the angle between Volnay Fremiets and Volnay Clos de la Barre mid-level on the slope below the village and just south of the border with Pommard. Leflaive sources from a 9 acre parcel.
Grapes are hand harvested prior to fermentation and aging in a combination of new and used oak barrels and stainless steel.
