Here is a beautifully made organic red from Languedoc that always delivers the goods. Aromas of dark mixed berries leads to layers of dried spices, garrigue and a touch of tobacco leaf. It's smooth and sophisticated, and a wonderful value.

A much smaller production of all organically grown grapes, the 2022 Languedoc Les Darons (organic) (70% Grenache, 25% Syrah, and 5% Carignan) has similar red and blue fruits as well as peppery herb and garrigue-like nuances. It's medium to full-bodied, pure, and beautifully balanced, with plenty of ripe tannins and outstanding length.
