Clos de la Roilette Description
The bouquet is deep, pure and sappy, wafting from the glass in a mix of sweet cassis, black plums, dark chocolate, gamebird, dark soil tones, violets, a touch of brown spices and plenty of upper register smokiness. On the palate the wine is deep, focused and full-bodied, with bottomless depth of sappy black fruit at the core, superb soil signature and grip, ripe tannins and a very long, complex and impeccably balanced finish.
