Chateau Lanessan Description
Purple color. Intense and clean nose, dominated by black cherry notes, candied black fruit with floral nuances, rose and violet. A rich and lively attack on the palate with very silky tannins, sweet and savory. Lingering and fresh finish showing off powdered, candied, mineral nuances. Well-balanced wine, powerful and fleshy.

The 2020 Lanessan is impressive, to say the least. Dark, layered and mysterious, the 2020 packs serious punch, the blackberry jam, incense, scorched earth and leather all melding together. I especially admire the wine's depth and textural intensity. Beautifully done.
