Tomintoul Description
Tlàth, pronounced “T-lah” meaning gentle & mellow in Gaelic, is the result of a very careful selection of individual casks. The collection consists of whiskies of various ages matured in the highest quality American Oak ex-bourbon barrels, all hand selected by our Master Distiller, Robert Fleming.
Nose: Soft and sweet with aromas of shortbread biscuits, flaked almonds, honey and vanilla pod.
Palate: Creamy and nutty with notes of butter pastry, stewed apple, almond fingers and hints of cinnamon powder.
Finish: Gently spiced with layers of roast hazelnut, cocoa powder and oat biscuit.
