Crafted from agave harvested exclusively at the Las Raíces estate in Los Altos, Jalisco, this limited-edition Tequila Ocho release is a pure expression of terroir and barrel strength. It’s made using traditional methods—slow-cooked agave in brick ovens, wild yeast fermentation, double distillation, and natural aging in used American oak barrels for around 4 to 6 months. Bottled at full barrel proof (101), without dilution or chill filtration, it retains every ounce of intensity and complexity.
Nose: Roasted agave, honeycomb, light citrus, vanilla, and herbal minerality
Palate: Bold and creamy with layered notes of caramelized agave, baking spice, toasted oak, and a touch of white pepper
Finish: Long and warming, with lingering sweetness, oak tannin, and subtle salinity
