Drumshanbo Description
Drumshanbo Tawny Port Edition is a Single Pot Still Whiskey, triple distilled with Irish oats, and matured in casks which had previously stored delectable Tawny Port wines from Portugal.
Ripe summer cherries, apricots, and creme brulee swirl, with subtle pot spice. The delectable tawny port flows deliciously in the background from the very first sip. Lingering pot spices descend with the subtle sweetness of nougat and candied fruits, balanced by a creamy velvet mouthfeel.

With a single pot still recipe that includes barley, malt, and Irish barra oats, this was fully matured in tawny port casks. Red fruits and spice abound on the nose, with red apple, ripe Victoria plum, fresh cherry, florals, ruby grapefruit, and underlying pot still spiciness. Fresh and polished on the palate, with straightforward flavors of red apple, cherry, punchy spices, and cherry soda.
