Bimber Distillery Description
Bimber Imperial Stout Cask Single Malt Club Edition Release No. 3 is a special bottling of the young Bimber distillery, which is based in London. This exquisite whisky is a special bottling that was aged for an undisclosed amount of time in first-fill ex-bourbon oak casks. After maturation, the malt was decanted and it received its finish in casks containing an Imperial Stout brewed by the craft brewery Brew By Numbers in London. In 2022, Bimber Distillery gave some ex-Bimber and ex-Bourbon barrels to the craft brewery, which filled them with its classic Imperial Stout. In total, the robust English ale aged in the barrels for around 6 months and is one of Brew By Numbers' most highly rated creations.
The malt is bottled without chill filtration and artificial coloring with an alcohol content of 51.2%.
Color: Golden yellow.
Nose: Fruity peaches and tangerines, cocoa notes, black coffee, milk chocolate, caramel, angelica notes, sunflower.
Taste: Fresh, lively stone fruit, vanilla, toffee, malt chocolate, herbal nuances.
Finish: Long lasting, nutty, orange peel, nutmeg flavors.
