Cazadores - Tequila Blanco (1.75L)
Cazadores Description
OUR ROOTS
In 1922 in Arandas, Mexico, Don Jose Maria Bañuelos looked out his window at the rolling hills of blue agave. What he saw, amidst the red clay and tall blue agave, was a deer, standing bravely in the center of the field. something about the prideful, confident beauty of the stag struck a nerve with Don Jose — it was the perfect symbol for his new recipe for a smooth yet bold, highland tequila. naturally, that tequila was named Cazadores — or, the hunters.
OUR HOME
It is from this recipe that a community was born — an eco system of tequila that powers the town of Arandas, deep in the highlands of Jalisco. From the jimadores in the field to the taquerias who feed the bottlers after a long day’s work— all of the people in los altos play a valuable role creating our high quality, 100% agave tequila for the world.
OUR PROCESS
Made from 100% blue agave, Tequila Cazadores ® requires a seven-step fully sustainable and zero waste production process including a double distillation, double fermentation and a careful maturation process, overseen and crafted by maestro tequilero Jesus Susunaga. and while it remains true to Don Jose Maria's original recipe from 1922, today's production process has evolved to reflect the growing demand for Tequila Cazadores® and the efforts we have made to ensure a completely sustainable operation.
A slightly sweet taste and soft finish make it versatile and ideal for mixing in cocktails. 100% blue agave, un-aged.
