Feudi di San Gregorio
Situated in the tiny village of Sorbo Serpico in Campania's Irpinia region, this highly acclaimed estate was established by Vincenzo Ercolino and his wife Mirella Capaldo in 1986. In little over 15 years, Feudi di San Gregorio has emerged into the international limelight as a great success story in a region that, for many years, was locked in a virtual winemaking holding pattern. Feudi di San Gregorio sources it grapes from the finest vineyards set in the rolling hills of the Irpinia region, located in close proximity to Mount Vesuvius. Ercolino firmly believes that one cannot make a great wine without outstanding grapes, and such grapes are inseparable from their environment. Therefore, vineyard management and zoning are key elements to the continued success and ever-increasing quality of Feudi di San Gregorio wines.
