Château de Beaucastel
Deep ruby colour with purple tinges. Nose very intense and complex, with jammy black berry fruit, pepper sweet spices. The mouth is round and voluptuous, with great tannic structure and very elegant texture. Finish is long and silky.
Wine Spectator
Ripe and fleshy, with lots of black cherry, plum, anise and tar flavors riding along a succulent palate. Sweet and velvety on the finish; this is drinkable now but will age easily. Drink now through 2011.
