Bobby Marino

Bobby Marino is an owner of Mid Valley Wine & Liquor. He has grown up in the wine business and has an in depth knowledge of all types of wine. Bobby travels the world's wine regions finding great wine and values to bring back to Mid Valley. He meets with and samples the wines of artisan winemakers who seldom or never visit the USA. His palate is evolved to the point that he can taste a wine just once and know its subtle qualities and the type of food it will pair best with. Although Mid Valley carries wines from just about every producing region in the world, the staff here feels that Bobby's heart is closest to the wines of sunny Italy.

Lindy Steele

After nearly 15 years in the retail, wholesale, and wine-making industries of the Pacific Northwest, Lindy joined Mid-Valley Wine & Liquor in the spring of 2006 as our store manager. Lindy not only brings a wealth of international wine knowledge to her position, but as an accomplished cook she can also advise you on your pairing needs no matter the dish! Of particular interest is Lindy's extensive knowledge of both the Red Mountain region of Washington State and the Willamette Valley region of Oregon State … places where she has both lived and consumed the wonderful wines of the respective regions!

Tim Free

A wine consultant at Mid Valley Wines, has worked in the wine industry since 1995, in both wholesale and retail. He has also been teaching wine courses since 2003, mostly at Mount St Mary's Desmond Campus. He has traveled extensively to major wine producing countries, including Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Chile, and also to many of the USA's producing areas: most of the producing areas of California, New York, Oregon, and a bit of Washington and Texas. He founded the local Hudson Valley Wine Tasting Club "It Was A Good Year, Inc", a not-for-profit corporation, in 1980. The club still holds monthly tastings. Tim's favorite wines include Chateauneuf du Pape, white wines of Campania, red Burgundy, Albarino, Barolo, Loire Valley whites, and Rioja. Tim is also a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, so it's not surprising that one of his specialties is food and wine pairing. He also holds a Bachelor's degree from the Pennsylvania State University.
