Boira Pinot Grigio 2007

Besides being the result of organic viticulture, what we like best about this Pinot Grigio is that it comes from one of the best white-wine vintages in Italy in recent memory: 2006. This vintage was considerably kinder to Boira than 2005; the '06 has more fruit as well as a certain mineral character that combine to make it enjoyable to many different types of white wine drinkers. We like it with simply sautéed trout, lighter shellfish, frittatas, and many salads. Certified organic viticulture.
